Not a whole lot to say here today. instead here's something completely unrelated!

Remember project A-ko? For those who don't, project A-ko is an 80's anime film about a girl with super strength named A-ko who is implied to be the daughter of superman and wonderwoman. She is freinds with a really loud childish girl named C-ko who has aliens, mad genius stalkers and all sorts of other stuff obsessed with her. Anyway Project A-ko had a pretty awesome soundtrack, below is one of the songs from it "Dance Away"

Now, as some of you may know, several years ago cartoon network executives decided to drop the word cartoon, making it just "The Network". I recently caught an episode of one of "The Networks" live action programs "incredible crew" and immediately noticed something, be sure to watch the link to dance away before clicking here or you'll miss it.

I loved Project A-ko. A-ko and C-ko were heavy influences on my characters Fenny and Sally.

I first saw them on Sci Fi channel's Japanimation block along with Demon City Shinjuku, Gall Force, and several other anime movies that got me into anime.

From there I started renting a bunch from "Hastings" my favorite at the time being Ranma 1/2
Now I have all the box sets of Ranma =D

Yeah I actually got the feeling that might have been the inspiration for them. I gotta pick the devon prologue back up later. Because I lost my place from where I was reading it never got to finding it again. Anyway if you like Ranma, I would recommend you check out Urusei Yatsura. IMO Urusei Yatsura is by far the best anime out there based on Rumiko Takahashi's works. The original rumic world anime series from the 80's was also pretty good but is even harder to find then urusei yatsura, my favorites among those were maris the chojo and laughing target.

"Beating" the bad guys is... kind of a weak word in this scenario :D

Mostly chopped up, but she did smack that one guy into the wall, bet all his bones got broken...yeah I think that was a beating.
